Make and Take

What would an Open House be without a make and take project?

This project has all the fun things we want in a make and take: it is cheap, easy, and fun!

All you'll need are:

A cereal box

Some cardstock

Some patterned paper scraps

A few buttons

Some bits of ribbon

Embellishments of your choice

Adhesive

Trimmer
Scissors
Hole punch

Got it all together? Then let's begin!

Start by cutting 4 panels from the sides of your cereal box:

Panel 1 is 3.75" x 11"

Panel 2 is 3.75" x 10"

Panel 3 is 3.75" x 9"

Panel 4 is 3.75" x 8"

Next, cut your cardstock to match. You will need to double the number of panels, since the cardstock will cover both sides of the cereal box panels.

Round corners, if desired.

Glue cardstock to the fronts and backs of the cardstock.

Decorate!

Punch holes for binding. Use ribbon, post from post-bound album, or binder ring.

This little project uses the Be Merry line from My Mind's Eye, although it would be adorable with any paper set you choose.
