Scrap Pink News and Pictures

It's been a whole week since Scrap Pink...sorry I am just now posting.

I shared with the ladies in attendance that we were able to raise $450 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation!!! Is that awesome, or what?

Many thanks go to the Coca-Cola Bottling Company for their donation of drinks for the crop, and to Wal-Mart for their donation of food. Be sure to show them your appreciation for getting involved.

I think a great time was had by all, and I am eager to do it again next year. In fact, I'm not sure I want to wait a whole year. Another cause that has always been close to my heart is St. Jude's Children's Hospital. I'd really like to do another one of these events to raise money to donate to them. Stay tuned for more info on that.

Scrap Pink Special Announcement

Great news! After initial preregistrations, there is still room at our Scrap Pink crop, so we will continue to register participants until the day of the crop.

Scrap Pink

I am so excited! Scrap Pink is coming up on September 27, and I have been busy planning and preparing for an awesome crop experience. Here are the details:

When: Saturday, September 27, 9 am til 5 pm
Where: First Baptist Church Minden Fellowship Hall
Admission: $30 for 4 feet of cropping space, snacks and drinks, a goody bag, and 8 hours of cropping time!

And the best part??? Proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, so this is truly a crop that makes a difference!

Classes will be offered for an additional fee, and vendors will be on hand with scrapbooking supplies for sale. There will also be raffles, door prizes, and a silent auction. Speaking of...we are accepting donations of scrapbooking items (supplies or completed projects, such as cards or layouts) to auction off. Please let me know if you are willing to donate something.

Space at the crop is limited, so you MUST pre-register before September 20. To register, fill out the form below, and then mark your calendar. You will receive an email with payment instructions. It's as easy as that!
